As promised I will give a quick review of my new GBB. Bought it in AirsoftEire for the price of €129.99.

    The Box

    IMG_2068.jpg

It's a box. Nothing special. Althought you do get a nice cataloge to read. All the usual bits and pieces-loader,bb's, allen key.

    IMG_2071.jpg

    First Impressions

Wow! Weight is perfect and the slide is crisp. The only ratteling comes from the mag which sits a bit loose in the mag well. But that is just a tiny complaint.

    Exterior

The finish on it is also good. A glossy black which is pretty much perfect. Full metal so a nice hefty weight.

    The Mag

Not much to talk about. It works. Is solidly built and hold a fare bit of gas.
But the best part is this pistol can also take CO2. A simple magazine change (about €30) and you can run CO2. A big bonus for me.

    IMG_2075.jpg

    Trades

None really except for the serial number and logo on the pistol which is a copy of the berrtta logo.

    IMG_2080.jpg

    Performance

Haven't had a chance to really test it, but it certainly shooting around 300FPS, give or take.
The action is perfect, not sticking. Also on a side note it's one a the few pistols I have that came pre-lubed (hehe :p). But this could be down to AirsoftEire doing it themselves.

    Take down

One of the simpilist out there on par with a 1911.

    IMG_2077.jpg

Overall very happy. Which is unusual for me. The only fault i have at the minute with it is the rattely mag. Nothing some tape can't fix. :)

    Pros

Cheap for what you get.Lovely weight and feel.
    CO2 and Gas compatible.
High cap mag and gas efficient.

    Cons

    Rattely mag.
    Is a M9? :pac:

I recently got one of these myself of adverts :D.

How do you know if its Co2 + Gas compatible? Also the serial number on yours is KJ(Then No.) were mine is K(No.)J this a clone or a mistake?

I had the pleasure of a few shots with it and range was great, still some tweaking do with hop-up, proper days airsoft will sort it. Very impressed do with the M9.

anyone having problems with bb's not stacking correctly in the co2 mags?
I've 2 brand new mags that I bought with mine and I get to fire the first 3 or 4 and that's it..the bb's seem to get stuck just below the lip..
The loading tool requires brute force which I'm hesitant to do .
annoying as hell...why all pistol mags can't be the same as the KSC versions are beyond me..where I can just slide the spring to th bottom and pin it there while I load the bbs in...simple and straightforward.

Just load them by hand, the one part of these that can break is the mag lips, so its not worth risking. Also, dont allow the follower to snap up against bbs, this will damage the feed lips.

This gun has been around years, and is considered pretty reliable, I have an old model with the plastic grips rather than rubberised and they are amazing for the money.

You can get co2 mags too, I don't know if you'd need a stronger recoil spring to deal with that though. The only downside of this pistol is the de-cocker is non functional, only the ksc, kwa and maybe the wa models have that function.

Great gun overall, I used a real one in the US at a firing range and the replica is spot on.

Just Skirmished it today for the first time

    Fantastic! :D

It was so good I droped the rest of my kit and went with just the pistol and an extra mag. I was against people with hi-caps yet still got 6 kills.

Gas comsumption was great. I was getting off a whole mag with enough gas left to lock back the slide deffiently. Even when rapid firing.

    Best purchase in yonks :)

How do you find the kick, I was well used to metal 1911s and found this to be a little weak, I'm wondering if I need a new return spring.

Kick was good. On par with my WE m1911. :)

Hmm, I must compare mine to a new one.

Mind you, mine is the newer model (blue loading nozzel), Maybe it has an upgraded spring.

The gas receiver at the back of the slide is red plastic. The red indicates that it's upgraded and strong enough to deal with the power of CO2.

Just wondering, can you get rail mounts for a Tac light for this M9?
