Holy crap the photo section looks sweet.

Must give em a buzz sometime. Haven't played in god knows how long. CQB might be a bit awkward with an SG1 :P Ill stay outside and shoot in.

I must give the lads in ballyvourne a buzz too.

There were lads using m14s when I was there so I don't think you'll be too bad off and the outside has plenty of long range action, even shooting from the windows or balcony its right craic in there with the lights out at night (most of them) its a great place to play

Its the old Duhallow Park Hotel on the Mallow/Killarney road. About 5k outside Kanturk.

didn't bother going the last time but was raging after I saw the photos as I hadn't realised it was actually gonna be in the hotel itself...

Its a lovely site , one of the best I've played in Ireland. However I must say the organisers need to "man up" a bit with regards to cheaters and messers.

It always amazes me why site operators seem afraid to just tell someone their type of forcefield isnt welcome and send them on their way.they arent scaring off customers - they're encouraging the right type of customer.
The customer who just wont put up with crap play.

exactly...if people know that a particular site doesn't tolerate cheating etc then you'll get way more business from airsofters as it will be well known for it's fair play.
In fact the operators should just take a guy aside and have a few words with him.
Second time around say it publicly and hope the embarrassment of being pointed out will make him change.
3rd he's kicked off the site and told not to come back for a month.

On the other hand you have the twats roaring and screaming at someone to take their hits when
    a) their bbs are falling at least 20 feet from you
    b) bbs do not magically go through 15 feet of solid furze/thorn bushes despite what you may think etc..

So in terms of fairness I'd apply the same rule to both.

The day I was there was the first game so the rules were being changed as we went along, I'd put most of what happened there that day up to that.
Thankfully though nothing went over the top and there was no begrudging afterwards

Would there be reguler CQB games inside the hotel?

The hotel is the site all of the games involve and center around the inside with the outside for flanking and some "window warfare" :pac:
