    Hi
I have a brother living in South Korea....along with many other Irish citizens....If this Nuclear crisis in Japan worsens....what does it mean for the countries that surround it?

Depends on how much radioactive material escapes and which way the wind blows.

However I measure the distance from Sendai to Seoul at 1,225 kms so I doubt if any dangerous levels of radiation could make it to S. Korea.

You'd be better off asking your brother what the government agencies in S. Korea are telling him rather than asking people in this part of the world to speculate.
