I had the previous model 600F and liked it - this looks like a ground-up revision of Hondas best-selling middleweight. At £7055stg its not cheap - lets see what the € is when it lands here. Anyone got one ordered?

    From the Honda UK site:

    Coming soon.

The legendary CBR600F is back, wrapping its famous everyday sports bike philosophy around the latest Honda technology and design principles. It's dynamic styling and exhilarating performance capabilities make it a truly credible sports bike, while ultra smooth power delivery and effortless handling make it ideal for use every time.

A real sports bike, designed for the real world. Retaining all the innovative thinking that made the original such a finely balanced machine, the new CBR600F continues to ensure that both power and control are optimised at all times. A full fairing front cowl offers protection from windblast and combines with the multi-layered fairing design to create strong lines that keep drag to an absolute minimum. The seating position and handlebars are designed specifically to minimise rider fatigue and to take pressure off the wrists. A well padded pillion seat completes the do-it-all nature of the CBR600F by offering extra comfort for passengers without compromising on a low down, close to the rider position. Whatever you ask of it, the CBR600F always finds the right answer.

It's alright. It's looks like a Honda trying to be a Suzuki IMHO. The CBR6's best design IMHO was when it first had the exhaust under the seat, and the twin headlights.

I like the look of it, much nicer looking than the GSF650 IMO.

Are they popular though, especially when most people would go for the RR version? Or is it that they are more comfortable than the RR?

Yeah - I find the new CBR250 really cheap and nasty, the painted mild steel bits are too Hyosung for words and this new CBR6F looks like its got some of the low-cost-economy genetics from its smaller stablemate.

The CBR600RR with the underseat exhaust was a completely different beast to the 600F. Demand for the CBR600F-Sport drove the development of a more focussed version and the RR probably slowed development of the middle of the road F version.

No it isn't, it's a hornet with fairings. I think it looks pretty good but the old cbr600f's and fs are sportsbikes, albeit easy going ones by todays standards.

+1 this argument raging for a while why not call it what it is a faired Hornet?

The price is €10K less a few euro.

I see Honda is not producing a 2011 version of the CBR600RR. Only selling the F model

CBR600RR looks way better than this from the back. If they had brought the underseat exhaust to this, it would have been so much better.
