Colour piece for Drivetime

Just listened to Drivetime on RTE and their poor piece on people who have taken the week off to watch Cheltenhem in their local pub.

My God, a quick vos pop of punters in Alfie Hale's pub and that's it!
Well for starters Alfie Hale himself, who did an interview, is a former League of Ireland professional footballer. The reporter didn't even mention that. Maybe if she had enqired about his credentials with John OConnor of the Munster Express she might have learned something. JoC presents the regional press round up on Drivetime.

Your woman doing the interview didn't even know that.

A piece of cheap, ****e, lazy journalism. Not even an intervew with the Irish at the Gloucester races.

If it's a piece about the Irish going to their local why would they interview people who left the country to go to the racing?
