Was linked to an interesting video about the wah pedal and it's history earlier. About an hour long but worth a watch.

Think I saw this, is it where they fitted it into an old piano foot pedal? It was first made by Vox and then sold to Dunlop?

I'm sorry, I don't mean to be spoiling, I just don't have the time to watch it at the moment :o

Nope. Better set some time aside to watch it.

    Saw it earlier.
Love the guy playing on Shaft, he's exactly how I imagined.
Kinda wish Kirk never discovered one though......

Ah sure it's a signature sound, of sorts. I'd actually credit Slash with the revival in its fortunes.

Watched the first part a couple of weeks ago, but havn't gotten around to the rest yet. Really gave me the itch to mess around with bandpass filters and see what i'll get.

great tip, great watch, thanks. Had to transcribe one of the more elevated soundbites, from the Guitar Pl mag guy, ‎"...it goes to the heart of what human communication is kind of all about....". It's now proven that anything can be handled in a tasteful hourlong documentary

Dug my Cry Baby out again - and actually put if for sale on adverts afterwards, it's not really in use these days
