    Hi All

Just have a problem with my upstairs toilets the two of them will not fill up it takes about 6 hours for them to fill up. I have checked and all the valves in the hot press are open the toilet down stairs are fine.

I'm a bit stuck what to do next any advice would be a great help thanks

Could be dirt in the ball valves. If you screw them open and take a look.

Have you had any work done lately?
    Problems like this before?
Is your tank in the attic filling ok?
Pressure in the cold at the kitchen sink ok?

You need to open the inlet valve to check if their is dirt in the orifice

I had a look in the inlet valve and the only way I can explane it is the red little thing inside the inlet valve that is pushed back when the flot arm comes up is not come out to let the water back in I dont know why but when I push it a bit the water comes out not problem. I think I might need a new inlet valve in two of them.

Can you buy inlet valves on there own?

You can buy them but i think if you could turn off the water and crack open the nut i have marked in this image you would most likely find some c**p in there.

For my money i would just change the inlet valve. A company in dublin called mt agancies in finglas are agents for the Aquasave. They will give you your local supplier or may sell direct if the mood takes them. You can also buy a Wirquin bottom inlet valve from Excel industries in coolmine.

My personal fav has always been torbeck however due to conflicting views on this site i will stay away with suggesting this :)

Isn't that the point of this forum, that people make their own recommendations based on experience?
