    Hi all,

I've done as much research about this coin as I could but I can only find close versions of this coin online. I have still yet to come across one which is the same.

It's a Henry III Long Cross Silver penny. Probably around 750 years old.
It was found in my grannies back garden here in Ireland.

If you know anything about this coin or anyone who'd be able to help me find out more I would greatly appreciate it.

Nice find, all I can say is that it's not an Irish issue, because AFAIK all the Irish issues of Henry III had the bust in a triangle. Someone might correct me if I'm wrong there.

You could bring it along to the coin fair at the RDS in April, someone there would be able to help for sure.

There's a chap called 'Roomic_Cube' on Boards that has quite a bit of information about these. Give him a shout :)

It seems to be a silver penny from the London mint, from the moneyer Nicole.

The obverse reads HENRICVS REX ANG and the reverse NICOLE ON LVND.
This would make it a mule of type Ib (obverse) and type II pennies (with the moneyer and mint on the reverse) (Spink 1359 & 1361).

My Coins Of England and the United Kingdom is from 2000; it lists pennies of Nicole from London (Ib/II mule) and other London pennies together as being worth from £18 in Fine. Spink 1360 is listed as a mule of type I and type II and was valued as £40 in Fine, £85 in VF.

Something like this may be of help, though I don't see exactly your coin:
