With Uranium mining stocks down 30% or more I think it's a perfect time to get into the market.

Anyone know can I trade Canadian or Australian stock online with Davy's. I had a quick look but it only seems to allow me to access ISEQ, FTSE, Jow Dones or NASDAQ.

I bought into the Uranium ETF Geiger Counter Limited GCL.L, sold half last week (luckily) but took about 25% hit this morning.

IMHO I wouldn't touch Nuclear stocks now. Where I live is Nuclear and there's protests on the street about our generators...

As it happens, I moved all my portfolio into Canadian Dollars - Silver/Gold miners.

Property Bubble about to burst there though, I'm afraid, so I expect the Canadian Dollar to weaken.

Just wondering but how did you go about buying them ?

Would only be a short term buy and sell so I'd hope that currency movements wouldn't come into it much.

If I was you, I would set up an account with TD Waterhouse and deposit Canadian Dollars via Transfermate.ie

I've not done this, but know it's possible. The exchange rate you'll get with TM will be about 1% better than TD.

Open an account with US broker. Deposit Euros and buy any currency you want at market price.

Fail thread of the week. Wouldn't go anywhere near them.
