I recently got my attic converted and want to extend the UPC digital TV up to the new room from the existing point on the floor below. Can anyone recommend a booster to maintain the signal over the longer distance? Any suggestions appreciated.

UPC cable carries broadband and phone and you should not be putting boosters on the cable.

If you want a cable point in another room UPC will do it for you.

Putting boosters onto your cable may cause problems for broadband and phone for the people living around you.

Any regular Distribution amplifier would overload.
