Buying tax on a car with no nct? Can I?

    Yeah yeah, it's me again. Sorry :)

    I got form printedcout but I just remembered they ask for nct cert number too. Can I getaway with no nct cert? It's booked. I want to sort out insurance and tax atleast now...

    Are they very strick with no nct? Or I can just scramble something in there. I know people are doing it with insurance details when buying tax

    You can tax a car without an Nct these all they want in money

    The certificate of roadworthiness is only for commercials, they NCT detail isn't asked for, tax away :D

    I asked last time I was taxing a car in the office as opposed to online.

    I hadnt got the NCT cert with me and I asked them will I run out to the car and get it, she said no need.

    As tfitzgerald says, its a tax office, they only want money :pac:
