Hi just looking for a replacement for the the above games for the Wii,my daughter and have got hours out of NSMB and have 100% completed it and had great fun playing it and as it has no mini games as such or online playing it has run it course while the Mario Kart still gets a good bit of playing online :D,so what games do people recommend similar to them that would deliver the same fun and length of playing??
Multiplayer(most are anyway) and platform style maybe?

Not into the sports scene much ;)

    Have you tried Mario Galaxy?

The new Kirby game is supposed to be brilliant, I am getting it anyway. Klonoa is another one to consider, there are loads of brilliant games.

One Thread here might be useful too:

Hey OP, if you loved NSMB you should give Donkey Kong Country Returns a go. Myself and my gf play it in two player co-op mode and while it's quite difficult, it's a huge amount of fun. I suppose it depends on what age your daughter is and how the difficulty might affect her but it's a great game.

Also, Wii Sports Resort is probably the best party game on the system and has a huge amount of content.

I'd go for either of them, Kirby's Epic Yarn is meant to be great too but I've heard it's quite easy

ps. Super Smash Bros Brawl is probably my favourite Wii game but if neither of you play fighting games it might be tough to get into

Seconded for the Mario Galaxy games, so good.

Have you tried the LEGO series of games, very good co-op games and damn funny to.

Never tried the Lego series, usually split the purchase of the games and herself might be difficult to cash up for Lego games, might rent one and see how they go.

Just got the Wii 3 months ago and started with the best games in our opinion, well my daughter loved NSMB on the DSi and has completed it twice and still goes back to it plus it has great 2 player sync challenges minigames that gave hours of fun:cool:,so that was easy.

The Mario Kart was my idea but she loves it.

One with a story and a multiplayer option is always the winner.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

It's incredibly easy to get 100%.
Conversely, Donkey Kong Country is hard to get 100%.

Mario Galaxy is a 3d platformer, some people don't like those.
Great games, just a tiny bit harder to get into at first.

I think Kirby will be a good fit for playing with my kids, not too gone on Donkey Kongs difficulty level, just a bit too tough for me (which says more about me than the game I am sure!!)

I would recommend Epic Mickey, depending on her love of Disney

I see someone already mentioned the new Donkey Kong Country game. I would also recommend that.

Sega and sonic all star racing is pretty much a clone of mario kart wii with sega characters if that's your bag.
