MacBook Air problem

    Hi all,

I have an 11 inch Air.

Working fine since I got it, however recently it doesn't seem to be waking up from sleep properly.

Usually I just close the lid and it goes to sleep - open the lid and powers on again straight away.

However, now nothing happens when I open it. I have to hold down the power button to power it off completely and then boot it from scratch.

    Any ideas?

This is a known problem, but Apple released a firmware update that was supposed to fix it. Are you up to date? Check Software Update.

Possibly a logic board problem then. I'd recommend getting on to Apple.

    Hi Jamieh,

As a matter of interest do you always shut down the Macbook with the power button or would you use the shut down option from the Apple menu?
