Dragon Dictaphone app - Irish Equivalent

I am interested in the Dragon Dictaphone app - this transcribes what you say into writing in a note or an email. It turns speech into text basically.

It is available in the UK appstore and gets good reviews. But it is not available in Ireland.

Is there any equivalent available in Ireland?

There seems to be loads of apps that will make text into speech, but none available here that will do the opposite.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Simplest thing to do is set yourself up a UK iTunes account - problem solved. Or even an American will do as I have Dragon dictaphone downloaded from the US store.

EDIT: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 Just borrow an address from the likes of McDonalds or whatever.

Probably the same reason the Kinect doesn't have Irish voice recognition - someone somewhere saw Jackie Healy Rae giving a speech and though well f*ck that if they think we're going to code our software to decypher those eejits!

I have DD, and it's a great app, works suprisingly well.

    Thanks for your advice.

Will downloading apps from two separate itunes accounts to the one phone cause any problems?

No. I download apps from the Irish, UK and USA sites with no problems.

Also, is the app as released on the UK store specifically for the UK market in terms of voice recognition or is the software the same whether you download it on the UK or USA stores? I got mine from the USA, would it be more suitable to download it from the UK or are they the same?
