Password for disk based Recovery Console

    Have Alureon trojan so want to use recovery console option to fix the MBR rather than a full reformat.
    Installed it on computer from cd and cant get past the Administrator Password.
    Have removed the administrator password and tried it again with no success

    If you can't get to the Recovery Console after attempting to remove the password, your attempt to remove it has probably failed. Have you tried using NTPasswd? That should clear the password and let you get to the console.
