replacement seat-belt

    Hi everyone, the other day my dog chewed the seat-belt in the driver's seat, it's still usable but just about!!

    I was wondering does anyone know where I could buy a replacement seat-belt, I am driving a Nissan Pathfinder. I contacted the Nissan dealership and they quoted a replacement at nearly €250 which seems ridiculous to me. I would happily fit it myself if I could buy one somewhere?

    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    I'd go looking for a pathfinder/navara in a breakers as seatbelts are not something that wears out so any second hand ones should be fine once the vehicle you get it from hasn't had a huge accident.

    thanks Nissan doctor, I followed your advice and rang some breakers but none of them have one. I'm going to try contact more and maybe some places in the UK too.

    are all seatbelts universal, could I just get for example a Ford or Toyota seatbelt and put in it?

    The the reel fitting, seatbelt length etc would be different from car to car. In the Irish market only the Navara and Pathfinder share the same parts but try online for Nissan Frontier and Nissan X-Terra too.
