    Hey guys,

I'm currently in college and my mother is receiving alone parents allowance of around 100~110 a week for me and her I assume. I just got offered a part time job and I was wondering if I take this job will my mother loose her alone parents allowance if I do? I'm not sure how it works exactly. Maybe if I work over 20 hours she will loose it?

    Thanks in advance!

Just a quick one its "Alone parents allowance" as in singular parent, the other parent gone for one reason or another.

As long as you are in college, and under 22, your earnings won't affect your mother's One Parent family payment.
