What do you put in the postal code field when your ordering something?

It really pisses me off the way most forms make the postal code field mandatory, I'm getting sick of sending an email telling them that not every ****in country has postal codes and to omit the 0 or whatever else I put in the postal code field to circumvent it. Its easy to circumvent them but I don't know how the postal system works so I don't know whether adding 0 or some other meaningless text after the county name will cause problems or not. How do you bypass these postal code fields, have you ever let them post the package without removing whatever bull**** you put in the field to bypass it?

I just put in 00000 and move on.

I think you may be overthinking it.

I found "NA" used to work very well. The only exception I ever encountered was the Komplett site where "NA" caused the site to crash  instead you had to put a zero in.

I always put in 'none' because firstly its the truth and secondly it always works.

I just put in either 0000 or XXXX depending on whether it wants numbers or letters.

Ireland are due to get postcodes, the decision was taken by the last minister Eamon Ryan, how ironic that a green minister may be remembered as the minister for junk mail

Yeah 00000 seems to be work. Putting in the county name twice works too.
