Hi,

Some nice person kicked my driver side wing mirror off last night. The Unit is cracked off and is hanging off. I will need to replace to the whole unit. Its a manual wing mirror. I rang a garage for a quote and they said it would be around 240EUR.

Just wondering if this is a difficult job to do myself if I order in the part. I have basically zero background in car mechanics.

Any advice would be welcomed. thanks

I've actually sourced a new one from the UK on ebay for about 50EUR. Was more so wondering about fitting it myself but from the sounds of things it doesn't seem to bad. Thanks for your help

Get the part from e-bay and even if you can't manage it yourself I'm sure somebody will know a local independent mechanic who will happily clip it on for your for a couple of quid.
