I am thinking of visiting a friend in Seoul between July and August for about two and a half weeks.
I have been looking up flights and the cheapest I have got is with Lufthansa for about 1000e.
Does anybody know is this as cheap as flights will get or can I get cheaper?
What airlines are good and possibly cheap too?

I'm not going to be a load of help here:o but when I went to Seoul a few years ago I flew with Lufthansa via Stuttgart and they were cheapest I could find worked out around €800 for return flights

maybe you could look into flights with more stopovers/less direct could be cheaper if you're up to it?

I think you should definitely be able to get cheaper. I lived in Korea for a year (2008 - 2009). I had a few visitors visitors during that time and none payed over €800 for flights. Have you tried looking at Korean Air flights from London/France?

I just checked skyscanner.net there and I'm coming up with €845 from 27 July to 14th August with Turkish Airways. If you play around with dates you might be able to get bette

Oh and we travelled over originally with Lufthansa and thought they were AWFUL!!If you could get a Korea Air or Air France flight they're much nicer!
