listening to liveatc when they first called up Dublin they said they were just sorting out a problem and didn't anticipate an emergency landing, but landed as you say with one engine shut down and taxied to the gate under their own power. Call sign was RE09D, 17 POB

Just listened to recording of the ATC seems to have had a prob with engine and shut it down no major drama fire services out as would be procedure and other aircraft on approach put in hold
    EDIT
We mush of both been thinking of the same thing and typing at the same time Phonypony:D;)

Any idea where this flight departed from?

From the callsign, I think it is Donegal. The engine was shut down a couple of miles out as apparently the throttle setting could not be adjusted. It sounded like a well-handled situation all round.
