Anybody know the difference between these 2 test centres?

The RSA only has one test centre listed in Clarendon Buildings, Newbridge road. What you might be looking at is an old listing for when there was an SGS test centre there, a few years back?

Cheers guys, it's up there now when booking the test, picked Naas without the '2'.

The RSA did have 2 test centres in Naas. The second one was across the road in the hotel opposite the main centre. I think it was just there because there wasn't enough space for extra testers in the main one. The routes used were exactly the same, but I don't think it's being used any more.

    Hi,

Had my test in Naas 2 on Saturday, so seems they're using it at the moment.

It is in the Townhouse Hotel across the road from the test center. Its accessed by a little door to the right of the main entrance, should be a sing up on the door.

Edit : As Brian076 says, no difference in the test or routes. But parking outside the hotel is much easier than trying to reverse up the hill or out onto the road outside the actual test center. So you lucked out there dude :)

I don't know the area, but if the parking spaces are at an angle to the road it is a reverse out. If they are 90 degrees then reverse in, so you can drive forwards out.

I'd seriously recommend parking at the hotel, loads of vans and stuff park on slope, and it would be WAY too easy to get a mark driving out of there for reaction to a hazard or something. You'll know yourself anyway when you see it.
