AIB Cradit card charges

    Haven't used my CC abroad for a while but a work colleague told me she was charged a fair but for making purchases in the US in January.

    I checked the above link and I'm not sure if the charges relate to cash advances only. Can anyone confirm?

    With the new low limits on Cash withdrawals with ATM cards, I don't want to be hit with big CC charges instead

    Non-Euro CC purchases will have a 2.75% fee in the conversion.

    Looks like cash fees best bet would be to call the credit card dept to find out for sure

    Charges for both cash withdrawals and for purchases made

    AIB Visa Purchases 2.75%
    AIB Mastercard Purchases 2.14%

    AIB Visa Withdrawals a further 1.5%
    AIB Mastercard Withdrawals a further 1.5%
