-Barry Geraghty is mad about spirit Son, just heard it tonight he reckons its a machine...but im sticking with Al Ferof EW and Cue Card

Bensalem is a each way bet to nothing if he stays on his feet and keep an eye on King Fontaine at a big price

Hurricane Fly will finally get the ground and pace he wants in a race. The birth of a superstar takes place.

Maljimar has good course form and could be another each way shot to nothing in the cross country.

Quevega is the nap of the meeting. Will cruise to a third win.

Final Race- Love backing Novices in this race, he has exceptional form and will not be undone by Cheltenham. Another horse that should be still i the running with two left to jump.

You heard it her first. Check outhttp://starbets.ie/cheltenham/ for some excellent tips lad. Well worth a look!!

I like the look of Reve De Sivola in the handicap chase at 12/1 stepped up in distance.

I had heard Barry was mad about Sprinter Sacre, but Spirit Son seems to be the better horse at the moment and is well fancied amongst connections. I'm not convinced about Cue Cards ability off the bridle so going to have a small e/w on Spirit Son at 6's.

Can't see Quevega been beaten and hopefully she isn't because I will have a nice lump on her.

Great Endeavour did me a good turn last year at 18's so I will have another go at him for 7's in the Handicap Chase.

*I will have Hurricane Fly aswell but I wouldn't be tipping him, it really comes down to preference when picking the winner for the CH.

Well i was at a preview night where Barry G said he didn't know which horse to ride on the first on Tuesday as there was nothing between them so i wouldn't say he was too mad about it a week ago.

Surely he wasn't spinning us punters a line:eek:

Apparently spirit son is the more mature of the two, Sprinter sacre more seen as one for next season

That's only the cross country course. Simon claisse would have a heart attack if firm was in the going description for the old or new course.

Good to soft good in places is the going for the opening few days.

All the best with it, but bookies wouldn't be open if Horses were that straightforward.

Surely the ground will be Good to soft, good in places at this stage...?

I see the cross country is on the quick side though.

    Quevega and Big bucks double

I did like Poker de Sivola in the Cross Country as he won a 4m race at the festival last year but hasnt race in a CC race before which is a major worry. Katie Walshe didnt even put him in her top 3 in the Herald tonight and she is riding him so Another Jewel looks the choice off a low weight and good CC form @ 16-1.

I've backed Reve De Sivola and Another Jewel, think Another Jewel has a huge shout.

    Cheltenham is definitely upon us.

But in fairness, when I started following racing I got mixed up between J'y Vole and Quevega (same colours). Neither name implies gender. J'y Vole means "I'll Fly" in French. I looked it up after people were pronouncing it wrong.

I agree 100%, I'm on another jewel at 25/1 and Reve De Sivola at 16/1

Two tips for the whole week. Sprinter Sacre today in the first. (AP on board) and Magnanimity in the first tomorrow. Good luck all. Both at around 10s.

Tuesdays tip: don't piss into the wind. Cert.

Tough day, nothing can be napped besides Quevega.
