    Anybody know if there is going to be a Patrick's Day parade in Lucan or close by this year?

    not sure about lucan this year but there will be one in celbridge

    Lucan parade starts at 15.00 on Thursday i believe. Begins up at Hillcrest before heading towards the village. There was mention of it in the Lucan Newsletter.:)

    Actually just found this on the SDCC website.
    Lucan St Patricks Day Parade
    This year will be the 21st year of the Lucan Parade which is getting bigger every year with 1200 participants and over 10,000 spectators in 2010.

    The Parade will commence at 3pm sharp from Tesco Shopping Centre Dodsboro and will march through Lucan village finishing at the Ulster Bank just past the viewing stand.
