Anyone know where this white box is coming from in IE?

    Hey,

Just checked a site I've been working on in IE (formats fine in FF & Chrome): http://www.photosoc.nuigalway.ie/

One the left of the page, where the shadow is meant to be, it's showing a white block. It doesn't stretch the full length of the page either, and at the top parts of it seem to toggle on/off when hovering over the logo.

Anyone know what's going on here?

    Thanks,
    Joe

IE7 doesn't like the relative positioning you gave div id="d". Sorry have no time to debug it further but this is where the bug is :)

definitly looks like a positioning issue, but a quick work-around remove the white background from your #container and add it to your #e div
Because your #e div appears to be acting as a main container too
