Seen the other thread on them catching toll tailgaters and the fact they are able to read rear number plates and was wondering will they start charging bikes now? Haven't seen anything mentioned officially.

Seen the other thread on them catching toll tailgaters and the fact they are able to read rear number plates and was wondering will they start charging bikes now?

Haven't seen anything mentioned officially.

no they still cant/wont read rear plates.
the photos you seen were garda taken photos to highlight the problem that they were investigating.

that was my take on the photos that were in the papers on it.

Didn't see any pics only read the article in the thread above which explains that the cameras are already installed. Just thought if they can now read rear plates then I don't see them being kind enough to leave bikes off the list....if the rear camera's work properly

I thought they were doing it all along. I got a letter from eflow last year for paying the toll late and it had pics of the car from both the front and the back!
