[March 26th] NASRPC National Competition - Bracken Projectile Club

    March 2011 - NASRPC National Competition

    The National Association of Sporting Rifle & Pistol Clubs
    will hold a National Competition in

    Bracken Projectile Club, Strabane, Co. Tyrone
    on Saturday 26th March 2011

    Disciplines:
    Centrefire Pistol 60 Shot match
    Centrefire Pistol 48 Shot match
    Centrefire Pistol T&P1
    Smallbore Pistol GP40
    Smallbore Pistol T&P1
    GRSB T&P1
    GRCF T&P1


    Entry Fee:
    €10 per discipline payable on the day.
    €50 entry for all disciplines.
    Note: 50% reduction for Pensioners, Full time students and the unemployed - only one discount applies
    Note: For those wishing to pay in Sterling the rate, at time of print, was €5 = £4.25, €10 = £8.50, €50 = £42.50

    Please Note
    All NASRPC Competitions are Open Competitions.

    Match details are as per the attached match schedule.

    An online booking system will be available via the NASRPC website in due course.
    In the meantime, to book a slot email competitions@nasrpc.ie with your name, club and preferred slot(s)
    To prevent disappointment it is recommended to book in advance.

    First shots will be at 10:00am.
    Last shots will be at 4:00pm
    Results will be published at 4:30 for final review by competitors
    Awards will be presented at at 5:00pm (Earlier if completed)

    Medals will only awarded in classes where there are sufficient entries.

    All Events will count towards the 2011 NASRPC National Championships.

    PSNI Firearms Permits
    As Bracken is in Northern Ireland, to travel there you require a PSNI permit for your firearms(s).
    To apply for one of these you will require a valid Irish Firearms Certificate and a valid European Firearms Certificate.
    If you do not have a European Firearms Pass you can simply visit your local Garda Station and apply for one, which is free.
    You will require two photos and your Irish Firearms license.

    Your application to the PSNI must then be submitted by a sponsor. Bracken have very kindly offered to act as sponsor for those wishing to travel to this match. You will need to send the relevant documentation along with the fee to your sponsor who will then submit it to the PSNI.

    It is very important to submit any applications as soon as possible in order to have them completed in time.

    NASRPC Committee Members
    A number of NASRPC committee members will be attendance at this and all other NASRPC events throughout the year.
    Should you or your club have any matters you wish to raise with the NASRPC committee please let us know, in advance, and we will arrange a meeting during or following the shoot.
    It is a very long day running an NASRPC event and it is not always possible to have impromptu meetings or for peoples queries to be dealt with if not arranged in advance so It is imperative to request this in advance so that peoples time can be arranged, any materials can be produced and information sought.

    Just a reminder that this competition is this weekend.

    If you are planning to attend it would be helpful to let us know, as this allows us to plan the day a bit better, ensure the ROs/Stats get to shoot, ensure people get to leave on time, allow the club to know how many to expect, etc.

    Hopefully we will see you in Bracken at the weekend.
