I used this today and my hair turned out really dark. Is there anything I can use to lighten the colour or do I need to go to the hair salon?

    Any advice appreciated.

My natural colour is grey but it's dyed brown and now this new colour which is much darker. If I use colour B4 will my hair go back to grey?

Im not sure alot of reviews ive read say it removes all colour, others have said their hair went lighter kinda a ginger colour. But you can colour it after using the colour b4..

Give it a few washes it should lighten up pretty quickly! Theres one shampoo that is known for being very good at taking colour from your hair, think it might be head and shoulders but Im not sure!!
I wouldnt use anything to try and strip the colour as it will probably just wreck your hair.

I love colour b4 but in your case I don't think you need it, just get pantene clarifying shampoo, it's literally impossible to keep dark colours dark if you use that shampoo!

First off, thanks for all the replies. I used H&S shampoo and it did indeed lighten the colour. It's been about three weeks now and I need to do the colour again. Just wondering if anyone can tell me; I used number 6 (light brown) but it was too dark. I have bought number 6.5G which is lightest golden brown and my question is: is it OK to use a lighter colour or will my hair turn green? I'm terrified it's gonna go wrong again...

If you can wait until tomorrow then you could go on to the clairol US website and use their live chat http://www.clairol.com/ask-clairol/chat-now.jsp

Just use 0000 as postcode and choose a random state, they are very helpful and should be able to give you a better idea of what your hair should end up like.

should try a number 7.. anything on the base of a 6 will have the same depth. the number after the 6 is a reflect
