That is certainly a bargain to be fair. Cheaper than anything i can see online. Fine set except maybe for those hoping to use it for gaming

Gaming should be fine with the vga input.

    VGA-Port.jpg

Input lag is 60ms with the HDMI connection, this is slow, you'l notice this.

Xbox connected up through VGA is 33ms (acceptable to most people, everyone is different) Connect Xbox to TV.

    Connect Playstation to TV. (Options)

    Plays films off USB aswell.

    Full spec here.

Well if the lag by vga is 33ms then that would be grand for gaming but i havent seen anywhere saying that either? Where did you find that?

just bought this 6 weeks ago in powercity for around 700, cant remember exactly, got 60 off quoted online price at time . Also got a 5 year warranty free with it(from sony ireland), well obviously included in price judging by this price in harveys. Does Harvey one qualify for the sony ireland 5 year guarantee?

Ah, thought you were saying HDMI, in general, caused high input lag. Didn't want to switch my PC monitor back to VGA. :D

Was in there this evening and it's still on offer. The saleman said it will be like that for Paddy's week.
