Very annoying and cliche sound effect!

Lost count how many tv/movies have used it....i heard it on Southland on Tuesday during the rooftop fight when yer man falls off the roof  , and Battle: Los Angeles.....i just find it very obvious and annoying.

It's meant to be obvious, it's an injoke for filmmakers. A bit of fun when you've been working on post production for months. Can't say it has ever distracted me, just a little grin the few times I've recognised it.

Yeah when I found out about it I was more excited about being able to recognize it in certain movie scenes. <snort>

But I wouldn't base my enjoyment of a movie on one sound effect!
