Transferring files from OSX to Windows HDD

I've got a Windows formatted external HDD which I want to copy files from my MAc onto. Reformatting the drive isn't and option and I can't seem to drag and drop the files. What's the easiest way to do it?

Try NTFS-3G or MacFUSE.
