    I'm looking for a B+B near the border (north of) which accepts Lazercard payments.

    Laser can't be used outside of the republic:

    Although if it also has the Maestro symbol it might be accepted.

    Laser is accepted in NI once it has the Maestro symbol, certainly by retailers and the like. However occasionally you will go to a smaller retailer (or even B&B) who look at you like the card is from Narnia :D I have a BOI one which works fine.

    Best bet is probably to check with the B&Bs you're considering.
