A friend of mine recently bought a car and he got the logbook yesterday. Nothing strange there, but in with the logbook was an "Important Notice" stating that he was liable to tax the car from the date it was transferred into his name, and a Tax renewal form was included in with it. Is this the end of project cars? And…

A friend of mine recently bought a car and he got the logbook yesterday. Nothing strange there, but in with the logbook was an "Important Notice" stating that he was liable to tax the car from the date it was transferred into his name, and a Tax renewal form was included in with it.

Is this the end of project cars? And cars being off the road etc?

he should write back for the craic and say he doesn't intend to use it in a public place for a while !
