Tailored suits online

I remember someone a good few years back on the Gerry Ryan show saying about how you could get measured for a suit here, and email off the details to a company abroad, and they would make it for you. They reckoned it was a great way to get a good suit for a relatively small amount of money, compared to what you pay here. Does anyone remember, or know anything about this sort of transaction?

I didn't hear what he said however there are several online tailoring sites. Often they have tailors in various cities or they do road trips to cities where you can be measured, get advice from them, choose fabrics, purchase items etc. I'd imagine that's what he was referring to.

These sites will generally allow you to send in your own measurements as well. It can be difficult to do the measuring yourself so it's best to get someone else to do it, preferably a tailor!

    Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot Sugar Free. I know someone who works in a shop that always measures their clients.
