Air Locked or Leak??

    Hi Guys

While sorting out the back garden I hit the central heating pipes going into the house, turned out the builder had only buried them 1inch below ground, ripped them apart at a join.

I fixed the above and had the heating going, bleed some valves etc, now the rads wont heat up. I have tried to top up the system and release air but to no avail. Every time I bleed the rads they re-fill with air, also the pressure on the boiler wont rise from 0 when I'm topping up the system.

Do you reckon there could be a leak along the pipe that I fixed or its just totally air locked??

    Hope it makes some sense!

Still a leak I'd say. The water has to be going somewhere if you're filling rads and they're emptying .

As with the above, it sounds like there's still a leak there.

its probly gone out on the high limit stat.is there a small button beside the thermostat on thr boiler.there might be a small black cover on it.unscrew this cover and press the button
