I have up to about 600 euro burning a hole in my pocket and I want to buy a projector for games and movies.... any thoughts?

    Must have:
HDMI in and some way of getting the audio back out again.
    Decent "screen" size.

    After that, I'm not picky!

    Anyone got any suggestions?

    DeV.

1080p might be a stretch at your budget

i use a 720p projector, an epson eh-tw450, excellent results from it and its warranty is very good aswell

have a look here, ive used this company before and they were very good with any queries

    http://projectorpoint.co.uk/home-cinema-projectors.htm

    click under £650 projectors

any of those would be of good quality, its just a matter if you have a preference for DLP or LCD projection methods

might i add you factor in the costs of long HDMI cable, projector ceiling mount, projector screen

your budget more than likely will limit you to projectors that dont have lens shift, making projector placement that bit more sensitive, so its worth doing a bit of planning on it

finally you wont regret buying a projector ;)

+1, take more time to stretch your budget to screen etc, you won't regret the move

That Epson looks like a good piece of kit!
