Pistol Slide problem

    I have a WE M1911.

When I fire the pistol, the bb comes out as per normal, the slide comes back and gos foward but it will not go all the way foward, it requires manual pushing of the slide to get it back in place so it can refire.

Is this a simple silicon job or is it something else?

I remember this happened to the ARMY M1911 MEU i used to own. You need a stronger recoil spring because if its too soft or weak it will not return to battery ie. the slide will not go back properly.

where would I get a spring that same size for it then?

I had a similar problem with my TM glock.

Remove the slide, there is a little plastic nozzle that channels the gas / feeds a new bb into the barrel when the slide returns. It slides backwards and forwards on a tiny spring. In my case, this was not being retracted fully after each shot, causing the slide to stick as it returned.

It was pretty easy to fix, I slid the nozzle to it's forward position, and held it there while I gave the area behind it that it slides over a quick blast of silicone. I then racked the slide about a dozen times and cleaned off the outside. That did the trick.
