Converting pdf to jpeg?

Hope this is the right forum... I used to do this simply in Photoshop but no longer have access to this. Is there any other simple way to do it (free). I do have Adobe Illustrator (maybe the save for web option would work?) help appreciated. Thanks

I would just take a screenshot and paste it into mspaint and save it as a jpeg from there.
