I've seen this happening on our motorways a few times, but it never twigged with me what other drivers were doing until I saw the video. I would say that truck drivers will have heart attacks if people start doing this more often.

Get stone in to windscreen increase as well. I nearly always get different size small stones on my windscreen. Two times over that i had to change windscreen(different cars, in 2 years time.... one here in Ireland, second in native country) .
