Does having an Australian Working Holiday Visa exclude you from obtaining one in NZ?

Just looking at the eligibility requirements of the NZ Working Holiday Scheme and one of them states "You must not have been approved a visa under a Working Holiday Scheme before". I was not aware of this and was under the impression that a lot of people who took part in the Australian programme went on to take part in the New Zealand one.

    Anyone here with information?

It only means that you can't have had one in NZ before. Two totally seperate countries.

Having an Aussie one doesn't affect applying for an NZ one in anyway.
