Help Citroen Van Smell

    When i turn on the heater in my Citroen Berlingo 1.6Hdi there is a strange smell. Its not a burning smell, its hard to describe it. I was wondering is there a cabin filter or Pollen filter in these vans and if so could they be needed to be changed?

    I'd suspect a leaking heater matrix....turn of the heater for a day or so an see
    if the smell is still there...:)

    Does the scent smell like bad eggs - if so you might be smelling gear oil.
