RSA PILOT SCHEME: Book your own test date?

    I'm applying for my test in Churchtown, which is a part of this pilot scheme. I've gone through the whole application and can't see this option anywhere. I don't want to pay for it until I see if I can choose a date, it's hardly after the payment screen is it? Anyone have experience of trying this?

    Below is all the relevant wording on this scheme:
    At the moment we are running a pilot scheme which will allow some applicants to select and book a test date which suits them.

    You can only use this if you have not already applied. If you have already applied then we will be scheduling your appointment in the normal way and you will be issued with your test notification

    You can select a test date and time by clicking on the 'Schedule an appointment' link within our online application, this will show you available test slots in your chosen centre
