http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=38 is good for the English TV stations and programmes./ Sometimes there's discussion of Irish shows and news.

Are you planning on franchising the Richard Dower brand?

He's going to start selling his own brand of Celtic Tiger Blood :)

Not really directed at just the TV forum but boards.ie in general, a few years ago I'd a number of forums I used to visit frequently (few times a day), over the past few years it's just boards now, it ticks a lot of boxes for me and I don't really spend as much time as line as I used to.

I used to use TV.com, but that got overrun by CW fans, so now I just post here.
Actually, you'd probably fit in perfectly there Richard... ;)
    Just kidding...

Yeah, DigitalSpy is decent.. but IMDB and TV.com are the pits.

For US TV the Television Without Pity forums http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/ are the best. You'll find long threads on individual episodes of every new show. Typically the users are always worth reading and you'll rarely get trolls or spammers. There's also good discussions on all aspects of shows.

Was just about to mention TWoP, definitely the best TV forum on the net.

It's Project Runway board is scarily in depth, I love it!

    Did Boards.tv close down completely?

It redirects to this site, although there is a sticky about it in the main Boards.ie TV forum.

Empire magazine's forums are pretty good.

TWoP forums can be excellent but I find them very negative at times. The majority of the posters can really tear into a series after a certain point (deserved or not) and it can take away from enjoying it.
