Former member of The Little Flames and The Rascals. Current member of The Last Shadow Puppets. He's releasing his debut solo album.

‘Colour of The Trap’, the debut album by Miles Kane will be released on Monday 9th May 2011. Comprised of 12 tracks including recent singles ‘Come Closer’ & ‘Inhaler’, the album was produced in London with Dan Carey(Franz Ferdinand, Hot Chip) and San Francisco with Dan The Automator(Gorillaz, Kasabian). Miles collaborated with a number of friends in making the record, his Last Shadow Puppets partner Alex Turner worked on the aptly named ‘Telepathy’, while Noel Gallagher and Super Furry Animal Gruff Rhys also appear, providing backing vocals.

Come Closer is a great little number so hoping this will give him the hit he deserves.

i like miles kane i was very surprised his band the rascals didnt have major success. he has a great voice imo and i hope him and turner can make a follow up last shadow puppets album

I hadn't heard it before but I just listened to it on Youtube and it's brilliant.

He stuff with Alex Turner on the last shadow puppets was amazing. His stuff with the Rascals was crap. How will this turn out?

Well with his new album, half the songs are co-written with Turner so he is obviously a major influence on the album, and obviously too on The Last Shadow Puppets album, I'd say even more so.
