Facebook Page Problem

    Hi,

    I hope someone can help me. I had a Facebook profile set up for my business and a few days ago converted it to a Page.

    My problem is that when I log in to my page I get a settings page and when I post anything on the page it comes up on the profile that I previously had but thought I had deleted. I seem to have multiple profiles/pages.

    I know this is a bit wishy washy but hopefully someone understands what I am talking about.

    I didn't think you could upgrade from a personal profile to a page anymore.

    If you set a page from scratch, you're fans of a profile do not follow automatically.

    What I would do is get your page set up and decorated - logo, photos a status update.

    Then invite all your profile friends to like the page.

    It can get very confusing if you have a profile and a page using the same name.

    Before you started the page did you have a profile for your business and a profile for yourself personally?

    Thanks for the quick response.

    Basically I have a personal account but set up a seperate account way back for my website. Then the other day I converted the business account/profile to a page. I followed Facebook's guidelines while converting, and all my friends automatically became "likes", but no wall posts convert over.

    Now I have a business profile that I can access from my personal account, and an account and page that I can access from the original business account.

    It's really complicated and annoying.

    Any help is hugely appreciated.

    The only thing that I can suggest is that if you make your personal profile an admin of the new page and run it from there.

    Later look at removing the business profile as an admin and extinguishing the profile. Don't delete anything till you are happy everything is working.

    It's possible that your old posts won't follow to the page and you will see all those 'set up options' for the first few days - certainly until you have a few posts up there.

    Are you sure your page is published?

    Also FB are doing a big change to how pages look today. It's quite possible that you've experienced a glitch. Not unheard of in FB and you'll never get an answer from them.
