Cleanest chain oil?

On my mountain bikes and road training bike I usually use a wet lube and regularly clean the drive train with a Park Tools Chain Scrubber and degreaser. But I hate the thought of my "hang it up and throw sugar at it" road bike getting oily and dirty!! What do people reckon is the best lube for keeping the drive train as clean as possible - it won't see much rain (if I can help it!) and I've no problem re-applying before each ride!

Pro Link Gold does exactly what you're looking for, but it does need to be reapplied very frequently, especially after rain.

Eventually though I got fed up of the constant chain cleaning and reapplying so I switched to Chain-L, a much better lube IMO which with a bit of careful application is almost as clean and lasts for yonks ! A bottle should last you years

+1 on the Chain L - really good stuff and definitely seems to run clean for quite a long time

The Wet lube variety is defo not for road bike use it usually holds onto roadgrit and is like a magnet for it too..

I use muc-off dry lube for the road bike and the wet lube for the MTB...

Or you could just take off your chain and run it through a bath of hot wax! :D
