    So how badly do you get ripped off at these events?

    I'd nearly consider popping over with mine to see how much they'd give me. I really want to go over to the UK to pick something up but need to shift my own first.

    They will give you a price below what it will go for a the first auction they enter it into so a poor price really. You could go there, see what they offer then enter the car into auction with a reserve that is a bit higher than their offer and see how you get on. Depending on what you are selling, the auction could work out ok.
    A mate used car2cash when leaving the country to sell a 01 320d that was in poor shape. Turbo ****ed, needed alot of money spending and it had over 200,000 miles and he wanted it gone so took 1300 for it from them. It suited him in that case.
