Just bought 2 of these as the food is amazing. If you like real traditional Japanese food with good ingredients then it is totally worth a visit. They have a huge menu so for those that don't like sushi there is plenty of cooked options. The Jumbo prawns are amazing :D

Sample an authentic culinary experience, courtesy of today's deal from Mitsuba: feast on €50 worth of fine Japanese cuisine for just €20. Try the mixed tempura bento box (with fried veg and prawns), or a Mitsuba Marina dinner special (featuring salmon, jumbo prawns, and calamari, and served with Japanese soup, shrimp appetiser, vegetables, steamed rice, and green tea). From fish eggs to salmon temaki, it's all here, with platter selections for the inexperienced palette and plenty of potent sake to wash it all down with. With today's deal, you'll be grabbing the best taste of Japan on offer without the long-haul flight to Tokyo.

I like the sound of this...but I'd like to know the answer to this before I get it.

Can I take 3 people with me and they will knock 50 quid off the total food bill.

Great deal, was Mitsuba in some of the Sunday papers last weekend?

Never bought on City Deal before, can you use it for two people?

Think its 1 voucher per person

So for 2 people you need to buy 2 vouchers cost €40 able to spend €100

Just rang Mitsuba there and they confirmed that you can use one voucher per table and its not just per person. :)

If you buy this and can't use up the full amount on a trip to the restauant will they give you a credit note or vouchers for the remaining value instead?

No wouldn't think so as per terms and conditions on the deal website:

    • No cash value/cash back
    • Entire value must be used in one visit
    • Cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion

    I don't suppose I could use 2 if it's 4 people at the table could I?

They did say one per table but having been at the restaurant and also talking to them on the phone they are really friendly people and really looking to succeed so I would say give them a call and ask if they would let you use 2 for a table of 4 people?

    Their phone number is 01 814 6999.

The deal link says reservations required subject to availability so yes you will need to book in advance.

    Thanks Kathy.

Looking forward to having some nice Japanese food! The menu looks class...I can see myself ordering one of everything hahaha.

Let us know how it went. I got my voucher today, but there were no tables available at the time I wanted (7.30 pm).

Haha I was in for 7.30!
Anyway was delicious, got gyoza, sushi, scallops and seafood ramen for main.
    Really nice food.

However, they were out the door, and most of the staff hadn't a clue what was going on, which can be excused I suppose, given it's new and was probably run out with the deals (saw at least 3 others with them).

The staff did seem a bit brainless though, and we waited quite a while (didnt leave until 10.15), as well as getting the wrong bill, and having to ask for water with our food, as we didn't order drinks.

All in all, twas good and I'd certainly go back. Sushi in particular was gorgeous.
