Drummer/Bassist wanted for project in Limerick.

    Hi all,

    I'm going to give another shot at looking for people here.
    I'm looking for a Bassist and a Drummer in Limerick to form an original Metal band. Doom/Progressive/Math Metal/Death/whatever....I have no single "preferred" style of metal, so I'm pretty much open to whatever is suggested - I'm not a huge fan of Thrash/Speed metal though. I have material written, but its quite hard to put a genre on it.

    I'm a multi-instrumentalist, but would like to go for guitar and vocals with this.

    I'm not going to list influences (because to be totally honest, I'd be naming 100's of bands) however I will list a few of my own favorite bands, even though they may not be exactly what I would like to sound like - Scar Symmetry, Solution .45, Paradise Lost, Katatonia, Vildhjarta, Threat Signal, Periphery, Decapitated, The Agonist, Krimh, Skyharbor etc...

    Drummers seem to be few and far between in Limerick at the moment. I was jamming with three lads for a few months, with the aim of getting a band up and running. We threw in the towel 2 weeks ago after two months of searching for a drummer. Hope you have better luck than we did!

    Aye, indeed! Theres actually plenty of drummers in limerick, but most are "taken" and don't want to commit to other projects. The rest, are not very "open-minded" when it comes to music, and mainly seem to want to start wedding/cover bands. ;) Thank you kindly for the best wishes! :D
